How texting works
Texts are counted in SMS segments. A segment is up to 160 plain characters, or 70 with emoji. Texts to customers need their consent, stop when they reply STOP, and wait for morning instead of arriving overnight.
If you run out
Routine reminders switch to email for the rest of the month. Cancellations and same-day changes still go by text. You get an email at 80% and at 100% of your allowance.
Pricing questions
How does the free trial work?
You get 14 days on the Crew plan with no card. Your site, leads and schedule all work during the trial. If you don’t subscribe, the site shows a paused page on day 15 and your data is kept for 30 days.
Is there a free plan?
No. Every plan includes your website, lead alerts and the tools to run the business, so there’s a 14-day free trial instead of a free tier.
Do I pay more for each service I offer?
No. Pricing is per business. A landscaper who also clears snow pays one plan price for one site, one customer list and one schedule.
What counts as a text?
One text is one SMS segment: up to 160 plain characters, or 70 when it contains emoji or some accented letters. Longer messages use more than one segment.
What happens if I run out of texts?
Routine texts like reminders switch to email for the rest of the month. Cancellations and same-day schedule changes still go out by text so nobody misses them. We email you at 80% and 100% of your allowance.
Can I add more users?
Yes. Each user beyond your plan’s allowance is $15 a month (USD). Users are the people who sign in: owners, office staff and crew using the My day app.
Which currency will I pay in?
Businesses in Canada pay in Canadian dollars and businesses in the US pay in US dollars. NearbyLead is available in Canada and the US only.
How does annual billing work?
Pay for 10 months and get 12. You can switch between monthly and annual when you subscribe.
