For driver & delivery
NearbyLead gives a private driver, ride or courier business a local website where customers book a pickup and say where it's going. Each driver's day is laid out as an ordered route on their phone, and customers get a reminder before pickup and a text when the driver is on the way.
14-day free trial, no card. One price for every trade you do.
They pick a ride or a delivery, how far it goes and whether it's a return trip, then choose a time. The pickup address is saved and placed on the map.
You assign the trip, or it fills an open slot. Regular trips, such as a weekly dialysis ride or a daily pharmacy run, repeat on their own.
A reminder goes out before the pickup. When the driver heads over, the customer gets an on-my-way text automatically.
The driver taps I am here and I am done. You invoice the trip, or charge the card the customer saved.
Nobody books a driver in the abstract. They search “airport limo Markham”, “medical transportation near me” or “same day courier Mississauga”, usually on a phone and usually in a hurry. NearbyLead writes a page for each thing you do, such as airport transfers, hourly driver hire, event rides, medical appointment transport, corporate accounts, parcel and document delivery, and errands, plus a page for each town and neighbourhood you pick up from.
Every page has a short booking form and your own local phone number, answered by an AI receptionist when you’re behind the wheel. Requests arrive in your leads inbox and on your phone by email and text, with the page the customer came from, so you know a corporate enquiry from a one-off ride to the train. The Launch page shows how the site is built.
The steady money in this work is repeat trips: a senior who needs a ride to dialysis three times a week, a clinic that sends lab samples every afternoon, a restaurant that wants catering dropped off every Friday. Each of these becomes a customer with a recurring plan, so the trips are on the calendar months ahead without anyone retyping them.
A customer can have several saved addresses, such as home, the clinic and a daughter’s house, each placed on the map. Notes travel with the trip: wheelchair in the trunk, buzz unit 410, leave parcels with the front desk. Door and gate codes are encrypted and only shown to the assigned driver on the day.
My day shows each driver’s pickups in order with times, addresses, notes, directions and a button to report a problem. When a driver shares their location, the next stop is tracked as they drive: the customer gets an on-my-way text without the driver touching the phone, and if the driver is running late the office hears about it straight away. At the door the driver taps I am here, then I am done when the drop-off is finished. It runs in the phone’s browser, and the NearbyLead app adds background location and trip alerts. See Staff & routing.
A missed pickup costs you the trip and the drive out. A reminder the day before tells the rider when you’re coming, and they can reply C to confirm or SKIP if their appointment moved. If you change the pickup window or send a different driver, they get one clear message about it. Texts only go to customers who agreed to them, never at night on their clock, and STOP is honoured at once. More on Reminders.
Payments run through your own Stripe account. Ask for a deposit when someone books an airport run or a long-distance trip, invoice a corporate account after the trip, or charge the card a regular rider saved so every weekly ride is paid once it’s marked done. The money goes to your account and NearbyLead takes no cut.
Yes. The quote form asks whether they need a ride or something delivered, how far it goes, one way or return, and how many people or items. Each answer can add time to the booking, so a long return trip blocks out the right part of the driver's day.
Yes, while they share their location from My day or the NearbyLead app. You see each driver on the map, and if a driver is running late for a pickup you're alerted, so you can call the customer before they start wondering.
Yes. Save the rider as a customer with a recurring plan, such as every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 am. The trips stay on the calendar, the rider is reminded before each one, and they can text back to confirm or skip.
Yes. Set a deposit on any service and online bookings for it are held until the customer pays through your own Stripe account. NearbyLead adds no fee of its own.
